Michael Joe Wick, age 47, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Harlingen Medical Center surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle against cancer. He was born September 28, 1973 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Vernon Wick and Josephine B. Wick.

“Mike” as he was known, was an incredible, hardworking and loving man, with a heart of gold. Mike received his associates degree in accounting, he was the sole proprietor of M.J. Wick, Inc. Truckng Co., and was a talented builder. Mike enjoyed spending time with family, outings to South Padre Island, and traveling to Mexico, where he was helping to build his and his wife’s vacation home. Mike enjoyed bowling, throwing darts, and shooting pool. He was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Wick Sr.

Left to cherish his wonderful memory, is his loving wife of 27 years, Rosalinda Wick, his mother Josephine “Josie” Wick, his siblings Sheri Hatter (Scott) and Vernon “Buddy” Wick, Jr., two nieces, Brittney and Taraka Hatter, and one great nephew, Ryan Scott.

His extended family members, whom he loved as his own, David Maya (Sandra), Denise Lopez (Ronny), and Cesar D. Lopez. His grandchildren, Angelina M. and Marco A. Treviño Jr., Davian J. Maya, Kassandra R., and Brianna L. and one great grandchild Jeremiah Pena.

Not to be forgotten, his fur baby, Chiki, who was his riding companion and a great source of comfort.
