Michael Houston Thames, age 63, passed away peacefully at his home in Baker Friday morning, July 17, 2015. He was born March 27, 1952, in New Brockton, Alabama, to the late Tommy Houston Thames and Bennie Mae (Cook) Thames. Michael is survived by his son and daughter in law, Dustin and Rachel Thames, and their daughter, Kayleigh, of Baker; a brother, Ted Thames (wife, Kim), of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sisters, Sandra Cook, of Holt, Amy Allen (husband, Danny), of Blackman, Florida and Zan Fedorak (husband, Shane) of Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
