Newark – Michael Hermenet Jr, 89 died suddenly Saturday, April 6, 2002 at Rochester General Hospital.
Family and friends may call Thursday (April 11) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Norman L.
Mr. Hermenet was born the son of Michael and Nellie Boeye Hermenet on June 11, 1912 in Marion, New York. He owned and operated the Hermenet Farms on Minstead Road in Marion. Mr. Hermenet enjoyed playing baseball and in his later years watching baseball on TV.
Mr. Hermenet is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Vern and Sandy Hermenet of Newark; daughter and son-in-law Marjorie and Francis DeWind of Manchester; five grandchild and seven great grandchildren; sisters Anna (Raymond) Rommel of Newark, Elsie (Harold) Norsen and Ruth Ann (James) Cheeseman both of Florida; many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Mr. Hermenet was predeceased by his loving wife Liz (Kotvis) Hermenet on November 28, 2000; sisters Nellie Elliot and Elizabeth DeMeyers.
