Michael Lee Hale, 65, Deming resident since 2001, passed away at Mimbres Memorial Hospital Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
Michael was born September 30, 1946 in St. Joseph, MO, to Everett L. Hale and Eleanor J. Hattaway. He pursued a career in the culinary arts. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and was involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Moose Lodge, American Legion and the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association).
Survivors include his wife Mary Kay Hale of the home, 2 sons, Michael Lee Hale Jr. and Jon Schliep; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Mark Joseph and Patrick Hale and 1 sister, Linda J. Hale Whitehurst. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Eleanor Hale.
