Michael H. Wood 74 of Clinton left us for a more peaceful place on Oct 24, 2013 at 12:20am in IU Methodist Hospital. He had worked for Indy Parks and Recreation Dept as un umpire for slow pitch softball for over 15 years and at Fairview Park and Montezuma. He had been a avid yard saler and Ebayer, a Cubs fan and a Colts and NASCAR fan. He was a sounding board for his daughters and enjoyed his grandchildren and his beloved dog Snickers.
He is preceded in death by his mother Francis Taylor, father Ray Wood, a very special stepmother Montia Leota Coleman and George Coleman, a sister Patty Rae and a brother David.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Priscilla (P.J. Jones) Wood of Clinton, daughter Michelle (Greg) Chadwick of Fl., daughter Taylor Wood of Clinton, grandchildren; Montia Heatherly and Ethan Chadwick both of FL., brothers; Jerry Wood and Marc Coleman of Indianapolis, a sister Bonnie (J.B.) Bourne of Indianapolis and a brother in law Larry J. Jones of Clinton. Nieces: Autumn (Rob) Hastings of Clinton and Sarah (Mike) Miller of Corydon. Nephews; Jeremy (Mari) Jones of Clinton, Cory (Tara) Jones of Washington State, Scott Ledgerwood and Joey Hardin of Indianapolis and Joel Wood of Alabama.
