Michael Edward Bondarchuk was born in Midland, Michigan on July 26th, 1949 to Michael and Edith Bondarchuk. He passed away unexpectedly June 24th, 2022 due to complications with pancreatic cancer and congestive heart failure.

Mike grew up running around on farms in Michigan and was always getting into some kind of trouble. He was loved by all growing up, a gift he carried into adulthood.

Mike obtained a degree in Oceanography from Florida Institute of Technology, furthering his deep love of the ocean and water. He often shared many fond stories and memories of his time spent in the Squamish fraternity during his time in Florida. After finishing his degree, he and his roommate, Mike Davis, moved to Colorado from Florida, where Mike built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and friendship. It was in Colorado that Mike met Jill, got married, and spent the next 44 years together. They had two daughters Kassi and Sadie, whom Mike loved and supported unconditionally.

Mike got into auto body work after moving to Colorado, and started teaching body work at Arapahoe Community College. This ultimately led him to start his own auto body shop called “Mr. B’s”. Mike owned and operated Mr. B’s auto body shop for over 25 years.

Mike will be remembered as an honest, hilarious and kind man. He was the master of cornhole and washer tosser, and will be remembered by many leaning over the counter in his corner of the kitchen.  His main accomplishments in life are providing for his family and creating a safe haven for many family and friends throughout his and Jill’s life together. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Edith Bondarchuk and his son Garrett. He is survived by his wife Jill, daughters Kassi and Sadie, Son – in – law Shayne, Sister Nancy Caldwell and Nephew Greg Caldwell. He will remain in our hearts – until we meet again.
