Michael Eugene Parks, 40, of LaSalle, passed away October 10, 2012 at IVCH in Peru.
Michael was born July 20, 1972 in Streator to Clarence E. and Sandy (Ansteth) Parks. He worked at Caterpillar in Peoria for many years. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Clarence E. (Kathy) Parks of Streator and Sandy Welch of Pontiac; finance of 3 years Jane Zorgdrager of LaSalle; son Justin Parks of Streator; step-children, John, Megan and Alisha Zorgdrager of LaSalle; 6 siblings, William Parks of FL, Margaret Parks of Japan, Mary Jo Parks of Peru, Monica (Chad) Hopkins of Streator, Melissa Parks of Streator and Tommy Saltzman of Spring Valley; 3 uncles, Gordon (Carrie) Parks of LaSalle, Don (Ellen) Parks of NC and Ron (Donna) Ansteth of Triumph; 3 aunts, Connie Shaw of Flanagan, Diana May of OR and Dee Dee Randle of AZ; 10 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dale and Josephine Ansteth; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Parks, an uncle, Michael Parks and a cousin Derek Parks.
