Michael C. Kulak, 67, of Marlborough, beloved husband of Cynthia Pickett-Kulak, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 13, 2015. He was born in Hartford to the late Boleslaus and Margaret (Stratton) Kulak. Mike began his career as a mechanical engineer in the traffic division of the CT Dept. of Transportation and after 44 years, retired from railroad systems. He enjoyed computers, cooking and loved boating in Long Island Sound whenever he could. In addition to his wife, Cynthia, he is survived by his step-children: Latrice Scott of Hartford, Daniel Postell of Utah, David Postell of Europe and Peter Postell of Marlborough; grandchildren: Justice Jordan Dawkins, Elijah Luke Postell and Mya Rose Postell; his brother Bryan Kulak and his wife, Theresa of Middletown, NY; his sister Joan Nowicki and her husband, Thomas of New Britain and several nieces and nephews.
