Michael Arthur Dingman, 60, of Pinehurst, ID, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2022 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Michael was born on August 9, 1961 in Silverton, ID, a son of Edwin A. Dingman and Idella Wagner Dingman.
Michael grew up in the Silver Valley and graduated from Kellogg High School, Class of 1979. During his high school days, he worked at the Shoshone News-Press. After graduation he worked in the zinc plant at the Bunker Hill Mine in Kellogg, Michael then enlisted in the US Army and served three years of active duty and spent nine years as an army reserve, reporting to the US Army Reserve Command Center in Hayden, ID.
Being an avid outdoor enthusiast, Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and stargazing. He also enjoyed collecting stamps, comic books, and many other unique collectibles.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Edwin A. Dingman
Survivors include his mother, Idella Dingman of Post Falls, ID; a brother, Steven Dingman of Pinehurst, ID; two sisters, Anita (Ben) Flachmeyer of Post Falls, ID, and Linda Jennings of Coeur d’Alene, ID; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
