Michael A. Curry passed away on January 10, 2019 at Capital Health in Hopewell. He was 71. Born and raised in Burlington, NJ, he was a graduate of Burlington High School Class of 1967. Mike joined the Army in 1968 and served in Japan for 3 years and was Honorably discharged in 1972 as an E-5. He was employed by Monsanto Plastics, Tenneco Chemical in Burlington for 9 years and PSE&G Generating Stations in Burlington and Sewaren for over 25 years before his retirement.
Son of the late John and Dorothy Curry and brother of the late Kathleen Curry, Mike is survived by a sister Joanne Uveges and husband Stephen, nephew Stephen M. Uveges, niece Jennifer A. Uveges and cousin Gale H. Schneider. In addition, Mike had many friends who will miss him dearly. Mike was an avid football fan, always watching College and Professional games whenever possible.
His favorite team was the NY Giants. He also enjoyed fishing, handyman projects, working on his pickup truck, and taking trips to the Casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Some of his other favorite things included Peanut Butter Cups, Fudge brownies and Bugs Bunny. Mike always had a great sense of humor and kept everyone laughing.
