Meredith Allan Moss, 82 of Fort White, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at his home. Mr. Moss was born in Benton, Illinois to the late Garland Lewis Moss and Evelyn Smothers Moss. He served our country in the United States Navy for 21 years retiring in 1979. Mr. Moss served as a Navy Corpsman on Nuclear Subs and retired as a CWO2 Physician’s Assistant.
Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 62 years, Charlene Moss, Fort White; three children, Anita Sherrer (Roy), Fort White, Chuck Moss (Dona), Gainesville and Terry Brewer (Del), Fort White; one sister, Sue Miller, Metropolis, IL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
