Mercedes Desiree Bennett was born on March 6, 1994 in Homestead Florida. Although she was the youngest of 5 children, Mercedes always found a way to get whatever she wanted. As an adult, her thoughtfulness , compassion , and lovable personality allowed her to do the same . She made strangers feel like family.
Mercedes graduated from Homestead Senior High School in 2012 . Mercedes later attended Florida International University where she acquired her bachelors degree in elementary education.
Shortly after graduating, Mercedes moved to Orlando Florida to pursue her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. Within only a few months, she accomplished her goal by landing a job at Pine Hills Elementary.
Mercedes always aspired to be in a position that would allow her to be a beacon of hope for children in underprivileged communities. She loved traveling and was considered by everyone to be the centerpiece that held her family together.
On September 22, 2021, Mercedes Bennett unexpectedly lost her life while sleeping. She was only 27 years young. She will be missed by all who grew to love her.
