Melissa Lynn Wilt, 38, of Daleville, passed away on October 25th at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
She was born on March 4, 1975 in San Diego, California and resided most of her life in Muncie. Melissa graduated from Cowan High School, and received her LPN at Ivy Tech. She was a nurse at Ball Memorial Hospital. She loved to read, do crafts, and gardening.
Melissa is survived by her loving spouse whom she married October 14, 2000, Sean T. Wilt of Daleville, mother, Nena Matthews of Pendleton, father, David Kathy Matthews of Daleville, sisters, Margaret “Maggie” Jessica Matthews of Ingalls; Mary Raymond Lowery of Brownsburg; brother, David “Junior” Tresa Matthews of Pendleton; Nieces and nephews, Maddalyn, Dyllan, Elias, Alex, Lilly, Shelby, and Sierra; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. father and mother in-law, Jerry and Verna Wilt, three brother in-laws, Tony Lisa Wilt, Dennis Wilt, and Marlon Wilt.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lydia “Nana” Jones.
