Melissa K. Kaminski, 33, of Union Pier, Michigan, died Thursday, July 27, 2007 at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Missy was born on June 10, 1974 in St. Joseph, Michigan. She grew up in Galien and attended school there until the 7th grade. She graduated from River Valley High School in 1993. On September 17, 1994, she married her high school sweetheart, Aaron Kaminski, in New Buffalo, Michigan.
Missy was employed as a Veterinary Assistant to Dr. White at the Three Oaks Veterinary Clinic for many years. She enjoyed cross stitch, spending time with her friends and her little pug. Missy loved camping with family and watching her children participate in their many activities and 4 H projects.
In addition to her husband Aaron; Melissa is survived by her children, Monica and Joshua; parents, Mary (Larry) Olson of Three Oaks and Gary (Sherri) McElwain of Stevensville, Michigan; brother, Gary “Buddy” (Jamie) McElwain of Three Oaks; her sister, Mandi Allen of Virginia; niece, Mary Kate; nephews, Stephen, Danny and Logan; parents-in-law, David and Linda Kaminiski, of Three Oaks and her sister-in-law, Katie (Andy) Mann of Galien.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Tom Kaminski in 1994.
