Melissa Anne Billmeyer, 54, departed this Earth to her heavenly home on December 24, 2023.She is survived by her husband Kevin Lee Billmeyer; daughters Erica Danielle Billmeyer and Sydney MaKenna Billmeyer; son Matthew Allen Billmeyer; parents James Allen and Betty Anne Manning; and brother Jeff Allen Manning and his wife Dawn. She was truly loved and will be missed by all.Melissa served 6 years in the U.S. Navy and was working with NAWCAD CAFSU as their Office Manager. In her position, she touched the lives of almost every member of the ALRE community and beyond over the last 17 years. She was the glue that held CAFSU together, serving as both a “second” mother and a confidante. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, whether known or complete strangers.She loved her husband and her children. Kevin was her rock and she could not wait to spend the rest of their lives in blissful retirement together. She was the most loving mother, always there for her children to listen and offer advice. She stopped whatever she was doing as soon as she heard, “Mommy, I need you”. If you were to ask her today, she would say her greatest accomplishment was the raising of her children. She could never be prouder of the people they have become.
