Melba Alice Moore Adams, a life-long resident of Ogden, passed away on October 23, 2016 at Mountain Ridge Assisted Living in Ogden. She was 88.
Melba was born on March 25, 1928 in Ogden to William B. Moore and Myrtle T. Moore. She was the 5th of 7 children. She attended Mound Fort Elementary and Jr. High School and graduated from Ogden High School.
She married Samuel L. Adams on June 18, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple and they were blessed with 4 children. They enjoyed 59 wonderful years together. He passed away in 2007.
Holidays and birthdays were always made special for her family. Her home was always a wonderful place for the family to gather and celebrate. She started a tradition where she sent birthday cards to all her nephews and nieces with a crisp new dollar bill in it and they loved her dearly. She was always so thoughtful of others and looked for ways she could help anyone in need.
Melba was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and will be missed.
