Melanie Alana Morris, age 40 of Destin, Florida passed away Tuesday, April 29th. She is survived by her mother Deborah Morris from Birmingham.
Melanie moved from Birmingham to Destin in early 2005 to fulfill her life-long dream of becoming a full time artist. Her work has been in many of the spring & fall art festivals in the FL, MS, LA & AL areas. She became known locally as the “Angel Lady” since many of her paintings were of faceless angels. Melanie said everyone needs an Angel in their life.
Melanie’s life as a daughter and friend will be remembered by those who love her & missed by all. She earned her own angel wings way too soon.
