Melanie Kay (Skiles) Carlile, 59, of LaSalle, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at her home.
Melanie was born November 6, 1962 in Charleston, West Virginia to Elmer and Sally (Mackenzie) Skiles. She was a graduate of Illinois Valley Community College and earned her degree as an LPN.
Melanie was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in LaSalle. She loved taking care of others and enjoyed watching sports.
Survivors include her children, Jeremy Carlile of Sullivan, Sarah (Justin) Cogdal of Peru, Michael Mix of Illinois, Matthew (Jennifer) Mix of Colorado, and Mark Mix of Illinois; one brother, Matt Skiles of Champaign; two sisters, Sue Skiles and Tracy Gosnell both of Peru, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth Davis
