Megan Kathryn Duarte 19 Years Old Went To Be With The Lord Megan Duarte was born on April 2, 1998. She was the daughter of Manuel Duarte and Katherine Flynt Duarte and a sister to Steven Duarte, Deanna Mayberry, Sara Duarte, and Daniel Duarte. She was an aunt to Aubree and Bryson. Megan was born and raised in Northern Virginia where grew into an amazing person. She attended Osbourn Park High School where she joined the step team and made many friends. She would come home from school and stepped for her family so she could practice and be prepared to step in front of her school. In high school, Megan was also in choir. She loved to sing and would sing all types of genres. She enjoyed reading books on her personal time, especially Harry Potter. She loved watching tv shows and got her sister Sara into Games of Thrones and loved The Office. Megan would love playing videogames and would play Fortnite with her brother Steven. Megan loved watching Deanna and Bryson go live on Facebook and would get so happy to see her sister and nephew since they lived in Hawaii. In 2014, Megan became an aunt to Aubree Jones to who she loved very much and watched her grow into a spunky little girl. In 2016, she began worked at Newport Concrete Inc. She made new friends, grew as a person, and matured. In 2017, she became an aunt again to her nephew Bryson Mayberry, who she also loved. Megan loved being an aunt. She would do crazy snap chat filters with her niece and nephew. She taught herself how to play the Ukulele. She loved playing her Ukulele and singing while watching her nephew. She would tap on it so Bryson would copy her. She would sing the song “How far I’ll Go” off of the movie Moana and would have Aubree trade off words with her while singing the song. Megan was a sweet, generous, and funny young women that always made people laugh around her. She always lit up a room with her amazing smile and hilarious laugh. She was the best daughter, sister, aunt, and friend anyone could ask for. May you Rest in Peace sweet girl, for you will be missed. You will forever be in our hearts.
