August 25th, 2022, God called upon Medjine Dorce to come home.

Medjine was born in Haiti, Arcahaie, on January 22nd, 2008, daughter of Myrlene Jean and Adolphe Dorce. She then traveled to America in 2014 to improve her life. She enrolled in school and excelled. Medjine moved to a different city with her family and enrolled in a new school. She successfully completed middle school and was prepared to attend high school with her older sister Ashly but unfortunately, God had other plans and called upon his child to come home.

Medjine was a wonderful sister, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend. But she was most of all a lovely soul. She survived by her mother Myrlene Jean, her father Adolphe Dorce, and mother’s fiancé Joseph Pierre. Her uncle, Wilnor Jean, Jean-Robert Jean, Yvon Jean, and Daniel Jean. Her aunt Bernadette Jean and Marie Jean. Her cousins, Brianna Jean, Grayson Jean, Emmanuella Louis, Isaiah Jean, Robens Jean, Nathaniel Louis, James Jean, Yves Jean, Kenny jean, Kevin Jean, Hector jean and her friends.

Medjine was a petite, lovely girl who was always laughing and smiling. She loved to dance and laugh with those around her. She was incredibly thoughtful and wise. Her favorite activity was dancing, and she relied on music to escape from reality. Medjine was an amazing sister and child. She was little, yet she had no fear of anything that came her way. She concentrated on her studies, earning outstanding grades. She was incredibly intelligent and often helped around the house. She bonded well with everyone because of how admirably lovely she was. Medjine was unable to hold her rage towards anyone for very long; therefore, she would come chat to you and crack jokes. Medjine was someone you could count on to be there when you needed her, to catch you when you fall, to lend a sympathetic ear, and to share a smile.
