Obituary of McLeod Harrelson
Mr. Harrelson, a retired mechanical engineer with International Paper Company and U.S. Army veteran of WW II, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2004 at his residence.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the ASME and an avid golfer and member of the Morehouse Parish Country Club. He graduated highschool in Georgetown, South Carolina and later received a Bachelors and Masters degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University.
Mr. Harrelson is survived by his wife Lois M. Harrelson; three sons, John A. Harrelson and wife Bethany of Dayton, TX, Dr. Gary B. Harrelson and wife Lisa of Opelika, AL, Paul M. Harrelson and wife Sanda of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Janie Harville of Columbia, SC; one brother, Henry Harrelson of Georgetown, SC; five grandchildren, John, Logan, Caleb, Alex and Whitt Harrelson.
