McArthur “Mac” Flowers, 54, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at his residence.
He was born June 11, 1960, in Jacksonville, the son of Pate and Muzter Hemphill Flowers.
He is survived by three brothers and five sisters, Pate William Flowers Jr. of Jacksonville, John (wife, Debra) Flowers of San Diego, CA, Veda Flowers of Decatur, Rudolph (wife, Earlie) Flowers, Josie Robinson and Julieus (husband, Ernest) Johnson, all of Gary, IN, Rubenia Ellis of Lanham, MD, and Icora Miller of Chicago; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, McCristian “M.C.” Flowers, Ulysses Flowers, Romancy Flowers, Pavie Seals and James Seals.
