Maxine Hodgemire, 73, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was born October 6, 1944, to the late Walter and Lillian (Webster) Burns. Maxine was united in marriage to Frederick J. “Fritz” Hodgemire on September 30, 1961.
He preceded her in death on August 27, 2007. Maxine, along with Fritz had been longtime members of First Missionary Baptist Church. Maxine devoted her life to her husband and children. Maxine is survived by her children, John Hodgemire, Shellie (Dave) Bowman, Shane (Jamie) Hodgemire, and Shawn Hodgemire; 7 grandchildren; sister, Julie (Steve) Carroll; sisters-in-law, Marlyn Byron, and Carol Burns; and many nieces and nephews.
Maxine was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Hodgemire; grandson, Todd Hodgemire; and her brother, Larry Burns.
