Maxine Tarver, 68, of Manchester, Connecticut – beloved Wife, cherished Mother, and faithful Servant of God – passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Born in Fort Gaines, Georgia and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Clark and James Hall. Maxine was a graduate of Hartford High School (class of ’64), where she gained the distinction of becoming Hartford High’s first Black female cheerleader during that period.
