BUSHOUSE, F. Maxine of Portage. Passed away September 20, 2010 at Bronson Hospital. She was born September 15, 1922 in Bentonville, AR to the late Charlie and Marie Shell Crouse. Maxine was united in marriage on April 18, 1946 to Donald, who preceded her in death in 1986.
She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church. She also loved to freely give of herself and of her time, volunteering in many different capacities. Surviving Maxine are her children, Jan Prange and James Bushouse both of Kalamazoo; grand-daughter, Jenna “J. Cecile” VanBeek of Minneapolis; 2 great grandchildren; and 3 sisters. Also preceding Maxine in death were 6 sisters and 1 brother.
