MAXINE E (KOCH) GEIGER, beloved wife of the late Jerome H Geiger, born January 5, 1928 and passed away January 6, 2021. Loving mother of Sharon (Lonnie) Keith, Douglas (Becky) Geiger, Miriam (Gary) Domsher, Nannette (late Greg) Riedinger, Jerome Geiger, Gale (Pierre) Paroz, Elaine (Greg) Hendren, Christina (Barry) Stroube, David (Kim) Geiger, Daniel Geiger and the late Greg and the late Gary Geiger, grandmother of 31 and great grandmother of 28, brother of Edwin (Bridgette) Koch. Maxine was from a small farm town, Boelus, Nebraska where she attended a one room schoolhouse. She met the love of her life, Jerry, while he trained Air Force recruits to fly the B-17 in Grand Island, Nebraska. They married and Jerry’s hometown, Cincinnati, their home. Having 12 children, Maxine always found time to love and support her family while also working for 20 years at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a prolific reader, coffee drinker, Reds fan, quilter, bowler, seamstress and gardener, who enjoyed camping and lovingly crafting homemade gifts for all.
