Entered Life…
Whereas God in His infinite wisdom, has deemed it necessary to call from our midst His Servant, Maxine Spears-Banks, we bow in humble submission to His will and pause to reflect upon the life and death of our loved one.
Maxine Spears-Banks was the ninth child born to the union of Aaron Spears and Nettie Mae Hall-Spears in Augusta, Arkansas on October 28, 1938. She attended school in Fitzhugh, Arkansas.
In 1960, Maxine relocated to San Diego, California. In 1970, she united in Holy Matrimony with Jesse Banks. To their union, one son, Alan was born. Jesse was called home to Glory to be with the Lord on April 9, 2012.
Maxine was a committed and dedicated mother. Being employed through the San Diego Unified School District, Maxine loved working with the children of Webster Elementary School.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents: Aaron and Nettie Mae Spears; brothers: Roscoe Spears, Herman Spears, Robert Spears, Hershel Spears and James Spears: sisters: Lois Brazwell, Robie Spears and Ruby Reed. The “Circle” is now complete.
Eternal Life …
On Thursday, January 3, 2012, Maxine was called from earthly labor to eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving and devoted son, Alan Banks; grandson, Anthony Banks of San Diego, California and a host of dear nieces, nephews and devoted special friends.
