Max Guy Rasmussen, 73, resident of Deming passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at his residence.
Max was born on July 22, 1938 to Lily White and Fred Rasmussen in Peoa, Utah. He served in the U. S. Marines during the Vietnam War and served a career as an electrical engineer. In 2002 he and his wife, Elena moved to Deming where he enjoyed the high desert.
He is survived by his wife, Elena R. Rasmussen of Deming; son, Michael Rasmussen of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Susan Michelle Rasmussen of Roosevelt, UT; brother, Jess Rasmussen of Wyoming; 2 sisters, Grace Moore of Lapoint, UT and Hazel Davis of Wyoming; 3 grandchildren, Griffin, Gavin and Sofie Rasmussen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister, Marian.
