Mr. Max E. Garrison , age 91, of Newnan died February 5, 2009 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. He was born in Hemptown, GA. to the late Edgar & Stella Garrison.
Mr. Garrison was a WWII veteran, a graduate of North Georgia Military College, a school teacher in Loving, GA and worked as a corrections officer for Coweta County. He was a lifelong Methodist; he was a member of First United Methodist Church and a member of the Veitch Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his sons; Charles E. Garrison and Bruce Garrison, of Newnan, and Guy D. Garrison, of Peachtree City. Also surviving are his grandsons, Matt and Drew Garrison and sister, Evalee Gillespe of South Carolina.
