Obituary of Mavis Goyne
Mrs. Goyne, a homemaker and member of the Quarter Century Club at International Paper Company, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Morris and her late husband David P. Morris, Sr. of Kenner, LA, Julie Daigle and her husband Keith of Dacula, GA; two sisters, Nell Powell of Monroe, LA, Jean Reneau of Swartz, LA; brother, Robert L. Coleson, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; four grandchildren, David P. Morris, Jr., Damon C. Morris, Melissa Danielle Daigle, Jordan Paul Daigle and numerous nieces and nephews and grand neices and grand nephews.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Gibson R. Fowler and Vernard Clyde “Bunk” Goyne; daughter, Nina Jo Fowler and twin brother, Travis Coleson.
