Maury Van Damme passed away in the early hours, May 4, 2013. He was born in Detroit, Mich. He retired in 1970 at Eglin Air Force Base after many tours to Asia and Europe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Mary, and sister, Martha DeMar. He is survived by his wife, Marian of 63 years, daughter, Julie Smith and husband, Tom; son, Michael Van Damme and wife, Beverly; five grandchildren, Brian, Casey, Caren, Sabrina, and Michael; eight great-grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Jacob, Sydney, Paul, Jarrett, Madelyn and Charlotte.
