McTamneyMcTamney, Maureen Elizabeth on October 7th, 2021, 70 years of age. Daughter of the late John V. and Elizabeth (Young) McTamney, survived by loving siblings John, Patricia (David Houghtaling) and Karen Sharp (Michael); beloved nieces Madeline Kross (Jeremy) and Molly Miller (Jay), and much adored grand nieces Chloe, Charlotte, and Caroline Kross and grandnephew George Kross and many dear and lifelong friends. A proud graduate of the School of the Holy Child Rosement and Marymount University, Maureen was a dedicated volunteer of the Surrey Services for Seniors and the Holy Child Rosemont Alumni Association. Despite numerous obstacles and challenges, Maureen was always of good cheer and always sensitive to the needs of others and a source of sage advice and friendship to many. Her dedication and volunteer spirit was rewarded with Sondra Speer Scott Award from Surrey Services for Seniors in 2019, an honor which she treasured immensely.
