WOLCOTT – Maureen B. Crotty, 73, widow of the late Robert E. Crotty, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Wolcott View Manor. Maureen was born in Waterbury on September 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Cervero) Bergin. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and worked as a unit clerk at Waterbury Hospital for over 25 years prior to her retirement. Maureen and Robert raised their family in Prospect. Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, and was a caring friend to all who were blessed to have known her. She had a warm smile, hug and kind word for everyone she met.
