Matthew Lee Bryant passed away suddenly April 17, 2020. He was born on January 2, 1989 in Roswell, NM, to Larry and Rae-Chelle Bryant. He graduated from Hobbs High School in 2007.

Matt had many interests. He loved soccer and began playing at age six and continued throughout high school. He was a huge Kobe and LeBron fan and the highlight of his sports watching career was when he got to watch the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks play live in the 2011 NBA finals. He was also a big Denver Broncos fan like his dad. He enjoyed going to the shooting range and playing video games. Matthew was honored to be part of the fire service as a Firefighter/EMT for the Lovington Fire Department and a Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter for the Lea County Airport. But his true love was his son Dominic.

Matthew is survived by both of his parents, Larry and Rae-Chelle Bryant of Hobbs, NM. He has two sisters: Sarah Smith (Greg) and their children Greyson, Georgiana, Gillian of Mt Pleasant TX, and Rebekah Bailey (Stephen) and their daughter Raegan of Hobbs, NM. Of the home, he is survived by his significant other Liliana Rodriguez and their son Dominic Lee. Matthew is also survived by his paternal grandmother Stella Bryant of Hobbs, NM and aunts, uncles, cousins, treasured family and friends too numerous to list.
