Prospect – Matthew James Szyndlar, age 19, of Prospect died Sunday May 3, 2015 in Waterbury of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Matthew was born in Waterbury on January 15, 1996 a son of James Szyndlar and JoAnn Baummer of Prospect. He worked as a carpenter at All-Phaze Remodeling. Matthew enjoyed motorcycles, dirt bikes, quads and old cars and was an avid football and baseball fan. In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by two sons: Damien Mason Szyndlar and Emanuel James Szyndlar and their mother Tamara Galanti of Waterbury, a sister: Donna Romajas of Terryville, a brother: Mark Romajas and his wife Brittany of Waterbury, his maternal grandmother:: Catherine Baummer of Prospect, his paternal grandparents: John and Lorraine Szyndlar of Prospect, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather: Clayton Baummer.
