Mr. Matthew Brent McLendon of Grantville passed away September 2nd, 2020 He was born December 17, 1989 in Atlanta. Survivors are his mother Wendi McLendon Welchel, his brother Drew Welchel, step- father Herby Welchel, his grandparents Charles and Lynn McLendon of Grantville, Uncle Michael Brooks of Sharpsburg, Aunt Jill (Ashley) Petroziello of Senoia, Aunt Lori (Sam) Cabe of Franklin, several cousins, 2 second cousins and the dearest of friends, Jarred Combs. Brent had a love for music, playing his guitar and singing the days away, playing cards with Meme and Popie and taking Haidyn for walks. He also enjoyed riding around in the side by side and playing in the yard with his cousin Connor Petroziello. He enjoyed spending time with his cousins who he grew up with, Jordan, Brooke, Breanna and Jacob Cabe. They would stay up late playing games and having a great time. Brent was preceded in death by his great grandparents Herman and Billie Lallerstedt, Charles and Dorothy McLendon.
