Matilda T. “Tillie” (Brady) Ragazincky, 84, of LaSalle, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Heritage Health in LaSalle. Mrs. Ragazincky was born March 2, 1930, in Peru to William and Prudence (Bernard) Brady.
She graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School and attended Illinois Valley Community College and St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital, and Spring Valley Nursing Home. She married Andrew H. Ragazincky on February 15, 1958, at St. Joseph’s Church in LaSalle. She was a member of St. Valentine’s Church, Peru, Prairieland Home Health, and the In-Home Care Advisory Board and served on the board for the Illinois Valley Credit Union.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew of LaSalle; a daughter, Robin Witalka of Peru; two sons, Peter (Polly) Ragazincky of LaSalle and Mark Ragazincky of LaSalle; two grandchildren, Sarah (Adam) Sadnick and Dylan Ragazincky; one great-granddaughter, Ariella Ragazincky, and a sister, Carol (Don) Capitani of Peru.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Andrew W. Ragazincky and two brothers, William and Robert Brady.
