Master Sergeant N.V. Meehan retired, 58, Anderson, passed away March 23, 2011 at Veteran’s Hospital, Marion after an extended illness.
She was born January 10, 1953 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and resided in Anderson since 1993. Nancy retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Army after 22 years of service. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #266 and the American Legion Post #127.
She is survived by her life partner, Debra Williams; mother, Mary Meehan of Newport News, Virginia; sisters, Eileen Meehan David Berg of Philadelphia and Mary Ann Graves of Richmond, Virginia; brother, James John Meehan Paula of Suffolk, Virginia; half brothers and half sisters, Ronald Longstreet of Jackson, New Jersey, Richard “Ricky” Longstreet of Toms River, New Jersey, Rhonda Longstreet Mark Martin of Brick New Jersey and Renee Longstreet of Wall, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Meehan and half brother, Robby Longstreet.
