Maryellen Graves, of Woodbourne, NY, formerly of Napanoch passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 with her niece, Marion as her caregiver by her side. She was 90.

She was the daughter of the late Walter R. Bockus and Marion T. Miller, born on July 3, 1931 in Colonial Beach, VA.

Maryellen worked as an assembly worker, in a book factory and most recently in a jewelry factory. She attended St. Mary and St. Andrew’s Church in Ellenville, as well as Immaculate Conception Church in Woodbourne. In her free time she enjoyed reading and keeping her hands busy with needlepoint and embroidery as well as solving jigsaw puzzles. She was known for her generosity and caring heart. She was a loving and giving individual who was always thinking of others. Above all else, her family meant the most to her, she was a devoted aunt and friend to all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her nieces and nephews: Marion Decker, Ida Roth, Irene Whitsett, Walter Carlucci, Mary Dayton, Victor Carlucci, Carolynne Capobianco, Dennis Graves, Kathleen Mentlik, Carol Cosgrove and Frank Baluch; as well as twenty-five great-nieces and nephews, twenty-six great-great-nieces and nephews and eight great-great-great nieces and nephews. She now joins in Heaven her loving husband, whom she married on September 3, 1960, Lawrence P. Graves; her sister Ida Urcuiolio; and nieces and nephews Phyllis Avery, Rocco Carlucci, Albert Graves, Sister Alice Graves Howard Graves, and Gerard Graves.
