BARKHAMSTED -Mary Zematis, 89 passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008. She was predeceased by her loving husband Frank Zematis. Born October 18, 1918 in Weehawken, NJ; the daughter of the late Joseph and Angela McDonald. She was a lifelong resident of Barkhamsted. After retiring from Baltimore Business Forms, she traveled extensively managing to see 48 of our 50 states. Spending summers in Connecticut with her loving family and her winters in Arizona with her many nieces and nephews. She returned permanently to Connecticut three years ago, residing at 21 Dowd Avenue, Canton where she developed many new friendships. She was a lifelong member of the Cherry Brook Grange and loved spending time with family and friends.
