Durham- Mrs. Mary Leggett Wimberley, 77, of Durham died on Friday, February 08, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Esu Leggett and Mary Shackleford Leggett. Mrs. Wimberley retired from Liggett & Myers as a machine operator. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, American Legion Post 7 (Auxiliary) and volunteer work with Veteran organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Wimberley, two brothers, Ray and Bill Leggett and one sister Bet is survived by her two sons, Bruce Wimberley of Durham; Troy Wimberley (Donna) of Butner; grandchildren, Ryan Stephenson (Tiffany), Dylan Wimberley, Faith Wimberley and Melody Wimberley.
