Mary V. Grandison, 98, of Markleville, passed away on January 30, 2020 at Countryside Manor.

She was born on October 1, 1921 in Middletown, Indiana and resided all of her life in Markleville. Mary V. graduated from Markleville High School in 1939 and studied Journalism at Ball State where she was in the Gamma Gamma Sorority, and retired from Delco Remy. She was an elder at Markleville Christian Church, a member of the Markleville/Pendleton Eastern Star, a past member of the Middletown American Legion Auxilliary, she is a Daughter of the American Revolution, and an instrumental initiator of the Memorial Park in Markleville.

Mary V. is survived by her children, Patsy “Pat” Schultz; son, James Timothy “Tim” Grandison, granddaughter, Debra (Robert) Owen, great-granddaughters, Delaney and Alexis De Jong; 7 bonus grandchildren, 12 bonus great-grandchildren, and 3 bonus great great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Doris Shrake, daughter-in-law, Jayne Grandison; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank “Jack” H. Grandison, son, Jon Michael “Mike” Grandison, her parents, Lena and Cletus Sanders and son-in-law, Norman Schultz.
