Mary Theresa (O’Brien) Fitzsimmons, age 74, of Milford passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Golden Hill Health Care. She was born on November 25, 1932, in Bronx, N.Y., to the late Daniel and Nora (Nagle) O’Brien. She is the beloved wife of John J. Fitzsimmons Sr. Mrs. Fitzsimmons was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, John J. Fitzsimmons Jr. of West Haven, Scott Fitzsimmons of Flushing, N.Y., Stephen Fitzsimmons of Milford, a daughter Sheila Carlquist of Sarasota, Fla., a brother Neil O’Brien of New Canaan, CT., a sister Eileen Kennedy of New Jersey and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Christina Benedetto, and brothers John, Robert and Patrick O’Brien and sister Sheila McPartland.
