Mary Sue Watson, 95 of Port Orange, Florida passed away peacefully on July 10, 2010. She was born the daughter of Gertie and Homer Ross in Newbern, Tennessee, Dyer County. She grew up there and attended schools in various areas of Dyer County until age 17, when she moved to Memphis, Tennessee, and lived with her special and favorite Uncle and Aunt and obtained work there.

She had met her future husband, J.L. (Butch) Watson at age 16, who enlisted in the Navy during World War II. They were married on November 1, 1943, when he was home on a short leave.
Her last job before retiring at age 62, was with a Children’s Dentist as Receptionist and Secretary which has developed into a lasting friendship. Sue and Butch moved to Good Samaritan Village on September 6, 2006. She spent the first two years getting her home ready like she wanted it and taking care of her husband. She was getting ready to do some Volunteering when on January 8, 2008, at age 82, she developed a heart problem which slowed her down plus suffered other complications but she gives glory to GOD for all the blessings He has given her and the things HE allowed her to do.
She was a very dedicated person. Her first love was her LORD, and second, her family which included her special Uncle and Aunt, Cousins, nieces nephews and son.

Her words to you: “God is GOOD all the time, and if you have not accepted HIM as your Savior, you must do it NOW! We are not guaranteed another day.
