Mary Magdalene Stevens, our beloved wife, mother and nana, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 20th, 2008, at the age of 65. She was preceded in death by her father William Taylor Gunnels, mother Ruth Ousley Gunnels, and siblings Sherman, Arnold, Millard and Bertie Gunnels. She is survived by her husband of 26 years Laurence Stevens, son David Herber and wife Alexia of Boerne, son Tim Herber of San Antonio, daughter Ginger Herber of San Antonio, stepdaughter Chris Story and husband Dick of California, stepdaughter Jan Stevens of California, two grandchildren Jordan and Alyssa Herber of Boerne, brothers, Ivan and Charlie Gunnels of Kentucky, brother Jessie Gunnels of Indiana, and sister Lilie Blizzard of Kentucky.
