Mary Louise Richey, 86, of Bloomington, passed away Monday at her residence. She was born in Holcomb, Missouri, the daughter of Thomas and Eva (Thomas) Wilkins. She was a homemaker in her early married life, and later became a nurse at Bloomington Hospital. At the time of her retirement in 1988, she was working in the Outpatient Surgery Department.
She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Highland Village for 57 years. Survivors include one daughter, Judith Ann (Richey) Baxter of Garland, TX; three sons, Phillip Terry Richey of Tampa, FL., David Randall Richey, and Jeffery Mark Richey of Bloomington, IN; two siblings, Thomas C. Wilkins of Fenton, MO; Shirley (Wilkins) Fayad of Mexico, MO; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Richey; one son, Keith Edwin Richey; her parents; one sibling, Erma (Wilkins) Murrah. Services will be held at 11am, Saturday at the United Pentecostal Church of Highland Village in Bloomington with Reverend Charles Benninghoff & Reverend Irvin Baxter officiating.
