NEW HARTFORD –WEINGART – Mary R. Weingart, 82, of Cedar Lane, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 6, 2006. She was the loving wife of the late Herman “Ernie” Weingart who passed away in 2002. Born June 11, 1924 in Torrington, CT; the daughter of the late Urban and Josephine Michalowski. She was employed for many years with the Torrington Company and retired from Executive Greetings in New Hartford. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, New Hartford and a member of the Senior Citizens of New Hartford. She is survived by two sons, Ernest A. Weingart and his wife Delene of New Hartford and Richard J. Weingart and his wife Mary of New Hartford; two daughters, Laura Polakow and her husband Anthony of New Hartford and Janice Brown and her husband Patrick of Clancy, Montana; two sisters, Anna Knox of Litchfield and Victoria Roscello of Torrington; and 7 grandchildren, Michael Polakow, Joanna Polakow, Megan Brown, Mark Brown, Eric Weingart, Gina Weingart and Casey Weingart. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Walter Michalowski and three sisters, Jennie Avallone, Antoinette Jankowski and Eileen Salzman.
