Mary E. Porter, 85 of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, July 25, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Sim and Addie Planzer Hall. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was the caregiver to her late husband, William R. Porter and her mother. Mary was a very loving and caring individual who loved helping people and was also very loyal to her friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Hall. Survivors include her son, Eddie (Liz) Porter, Chattanooga; brother, Tom Hall, Fort Oglethorpe, GA; sister-in-law, Aline Hall; grandchildren, Brandon and Matthew Porter; several nieces and nephews and numerous loving friends.
