Mary Patricia (McGarrity) Fleck, 72, of Upton, died peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 3, 2012.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Pat was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Quinn) McGarrity. She was a secretary in charge of purchasing for Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY, for over 20 years. She moved from NY to MA in 1997 to help raise her daughter’s triplets and was a resident of Milhaus Apartments for 9 years. If asked what her finest legacy was to the world, she would have one answer: family.
She leaves her daughter, Deirdre O’Connell and her husband Stephen of Upton; a son, Andrew Fleck and his wife Kalyn of Castleton, NY; a brother James McGarrity and his wife Carol; and 5 grandchildren, Aoife, Emily, and Eoin O’Connell and Andrew and Mia Fleck.
