Mary P. Bailey, 81, of Destin, Florida passed away after a brief illness on July 12, 2014. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 10, 1932. Daughter of Norman and Catherine Helmka. She was an Accountant/Bookkeeper and homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary loved the outdoors and her pets, leaving behind Mr. Bonzai.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, also by her two grandchildren, David and Felicia Pascoe.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband of 40 years, David L. Bailey, Jr, daughters, Judith Smith (Dr. Doug Smith) of Bessemer, Alabama, Leigh Pascoe of Destin, Florida, son, Daniel Pascoe (Terri) of Georgia; grandchildren, Denise Donohoo (Chris) of Birmingham, Alabama, Natasha Pascoe of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Crystal Guglielmo of Georgia, Kayla Pascoe of Georgia; great grandchildren, Kylie, Ryan. Kelsey and Max Donohoo of Birmingham, Alabama, Little David Pascoe of Destin, Florida, Tori Hudson, Brooke Thorton, Michael Thorton and Carley Jacobs of Georgia; stepchildren, Debra Millier (Michael) of Georgia, Denise Peet (Blain) of Florida and Daniel Bailey (Gail) of Washington state; step grandchildren, Dawn, Michael and Ian Millier, Connor Peet, Levi and Elliot Bailey, also special niece, Mary Catherine Jones (Lance) of Arizona and nephew, Burton Helmka of Glen Burnie, MD. She also leaves behind two very dear friends, Mary Kelley and Mary Brunson.
